Tricia Erickson Searches For A Channel To Vent Her Bigoted Spleen
May 16th, 2007 by JonTricia Erickson wants to warn you about Mitt – at least that’s what she wants you to think. In all reality, however, she just wants a platform upon which she can establish herself as relevant. She’s tried several different avenues so far – so let’s chronicle her attempts to insert herself into the limelight.Â
Politico’s Mike Allen – along with many other media movers and shakers – received a long, rambling email from Ms. Erickson entitled “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters? The Mormon Church vs. the United States of America†which – among other things – offered “guest appearances†featuring Ms. Ericson as an “expert†on Mormonism.Â
I caught wind of Erickson’s diatribes sometime ago and had to chuckle. Her experience with Mormons ended during her teen-age years and yet she still claims expertise on a subject and people she’s long separated herself from. Maybe she has delusions of working as a PBS documentary subject someday.Â
Erickson’s singular claim to fame – other than being an anti-Mormon bigot – is her having headed a modeling agency which represented the likes of Fawn Hall and Donna Rice. Maybe you’ve heard of those two – maybe you haven’t. Think really bad 1980’s hair – maybe that’ll help. Now she bills herself as a crisis-management expert. If your crisis happens to be caused by your secretary stuffing classified memos in her unmentionables or your presidential candidate having a Monkey Business fling, I’m sure Ms. Erickson can help you. Should your crisis happen to involve something else, good luck and let me know how she works out for you.Â
Now she’s in search of a talk show (radio/television/blog/outerspace) which will book her as a “Mormon†expert and by so doing will allow her to again enter the limelight – this time to vent all of her pent up anti-Mormon rage upon whichever listener/viewer happens to be in the vicinity. Â
Personally, if I were Ms. Erickson, I wouldn’t spend too much time sitting by the phone waiting to be booked for anything other than a late night infomercial featuring the No Excuses Jeans clothing line.

[…] Ok, I’m back. Looks like a lot happened in my absence, but I’m not going to dwell on it very much simply because I really don’t have the time. If you’re interested in Larry Craig’s wide stance problems, you’ll just have to search elsewhere.  The Boston Globe’s Lisa Wangsness reports on the Bay State Democrats’ Romneyfacts.com (no, I won’t link to it – go find it yourself) website like it’s something brand new. Its not. Add to that the fact Howlin’ Mad Howie Dean’s Head Mitt Hit Man Damien LaVera loves it and you already know more than you need to.  The Washington Times’ Julia Duin pens a piece which takes a look at all the people waiting for Mitt’s “JFK†speech. Looks like some people might be kept waiting. Kudos to Evangelicals For Mitt’s Nancy French for some good quotes.  The AP’s Philip Elliott has Mitt’s statement on the accusation he’s “too nice†to be President. Now there’s a new angle.  The Atlantic’s Marc Ambinder chronicles and encounter between Mitt and Obama.  Dick Ahles came out of retirement to take a shot at the Romney 5. He should have kept playing badminton and shuffleboard.  I have to admit, this Spoof piece is pretty damn funny.  The Boston Herald’s Howie Carr doesn’t think much of Mitt. It would be so much simpler if he just put that on his byline and saved me the time of having to read his column.  Here’s a newsflash: Mitt used a police escort in South Carolina and they [gasp] exceeded the speed limit. Last time I checked cops were allowed to speed.  John “Breck Girl†Edwards is taking shots at Mitt’s Bay State health care plan. Keep in mind that Edwards has never actually done anything about health care – everything about the man is hypothetical – including his campaign.  Evidently, the arbiter of who and who is not Christian is now the former Wonkette turned Time Magazine editor Ana Marie Cox. I was unaware of this revelation, and because it came via MSNBC, so is most of the world.  Human Events’ Monica Crowley writes about Mitt’s rising poll numbers. Good analysis.  So, you think religious beliefs should be part of any job interview process – especially a presidential one? Well, see how you feel about this.  I’ve written before about Tricia Erickson. Looks like she found a place to vent her spleen. I was going to link to it, but the content is so blatantly offensive and irreverent that I won’t do her the honor of sending her any traffic. I will, however, again call into question Ms. Erickson’ Mormon street cred. Yes, I know she was raised in the LDS Church and is a “former bishop’s daughterâ€. Those facts shouldn’t give her any more credibility as a Mormon than an Army brat has credibility as a military strategist.  This is what happens when Cheap Shot Sam shows up to a New Hampshire campaign event and nobody cares. Tricia Erickson is my mother and i would greatly appreciate it if you could find something better to do with your time than make ridiculous assumptions about her when in reality you know absolutely nothing about her. Please do us all a big favor and start focusing on your own life more than you focus on hers. I suggest maybe picking up a hobby to occupy your time since you clearly have so much of it to spare. Thanks!

Erika:
If your mother has a problem with my commentary, she’s welcome to take it up with me as I’m pretty sure she’s had more time on her hands than I have.
Thanks for stopping by.

Tricia Erickson, of all people. Wow. This is hilarious. I knew her. I worked for this self-proclaimed “Christian” woman in her agency, called the Erickson Agency, in McLean, VA. It was a scam, pure and simple. This hypocrite bilked a lot of innocent people out of a LOT of money by exploiting their dreams of stardom. Tricia was vicious, too. She and her (then?)-husband Ralph Bell were bullies and would do anything to preserve their money-making scam, including threaten people with legal action if they said they’d go to the authorities. I know it sounds silly, but people were scared of her. She and Ralph Bell were doing the devil’s work, is all I can say. They are EVIL. Ralph was just some engineer who got sucked into the whole money-making allure of Tricia’s modeling and acting agency. Huh. If Tricia is so Christian, let her make amends the right way and take responsibility for hurting a lot of people by downright stealing their money and falsely representing what the Erickson Agency could do for them. Knowing what I know and remember about Tricia Erickson, all I can say is, Tricia, you’ve got some nerve spewing anything against Mitt Romney. “Christian” woman. Indeed.

Oh, while I’m thinking of it, one more thing. From what I remember of working at the Erickson Agency, and I remember working there like it was yesterday (like the people she violated must remember being scammed, I bet) Tricia’s hatred of all things Mormon have less to do with the church than it does the fact that a bad Mormon man diddled her when she was little.

ms erickson and her former husband ralph bell ripped off my business for over 40,000.00. their scam business (model 1 aka creative talent management) was shut down by the ftc in 1999. she is a fraud and a thief. she should not be judging anyone. she should spend her time paying back all the people she ripped off in her life.
