Who Is Brian Camenker?

January 14th, 2007 by Jon

I mentioned Brian Camenker in Thursday or Friday’s News Roundup (I can’t remember which, just scroll down if you want to find out).  The MSM has been giving his 28 page “report” on Mitt’s record - focusing on the hot button issue of homosexuality.  I have not read the report.  I don’t need to read it to know what it contains.

That said, I don’t know Brian Camenker from Adam.  I wouldn’t be able to pick him out of a lineup so I don’t know what to think about the man.

Well, Dean Barnett more than makes up for what I don’t know.  He knows Camenker - or at least he did 14 years ago when they worked together on Barnett’s campaign for State Senate in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  I recommend you read the whole thing and make your own decision where Camenker is concerned.  Here’s Dean’s thoughts boiled down to a few words:

The man I knew 14 years ago was a good man, a dedicated father and a nice guy. He was normal. His current incarnation is, more than anything else, sad. (emphasis added)

Again, read the whole thing.  From what I gather, Camenker is little more than a self-obsessed (insert descriptive term here)-phobe who has finally found a way to get his 15 minutes on the national stage.

Clock’s ticking, Brian.  Enjoy the ride.
